Our expanding global presence demands a strategic and technical Head of Quality Assurance.

About you

You have the drive to build up a complete QA process for a deep-tech start-up. You are happy to interact directly with all stakeholders to improve every day.

What you will be doing

• Shape the QA strategy, with the Shift Left approach, testing as early as possible, as efficiently as possible, in line with the resource capacity and priorities of the company
• Build a holistic view of the QA, with the right mix for each testing stage. Maintain and improve the high automation rate on these stages: 
  • End to end tests
  • UI tests
  • API tests
  • Python client tests
  • Component integration and unit tests
• Collaborate with the engineering team and product managers to understand features during inception and create test plans, test cases and strategy accordingly
• Effectively identify and communicate defects discovered during testing
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate tests into the pipelines
• Execute smoke tests, regression tests, exploratory tests during the release process
• Provide the automated testing as a self-service function to the whole company    
• Always following the industry trends and new tools to improve as a team

What we are looking for

Technical skills:

• 8+ years of Software QA experience using automation
• Understanding of AI, fluent in using LLMs like ChatGPT
• Test automation experience with frameworks like Playwright
• Extensive experience in web UI, API, Python SDK testing 
• Advanced level of Typescript/Javascript know-how, at least basic knowledge of Python
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools 
• Understanding of software development best practices 
• Good knowledge of Linux OS, container architecture, and cloud platforms, preferably Kubernetes 
• Experience in working with relational databases 
• Live the concepts of simplicity, reuse, abstraction, DRY
